First hearing against Apple

On Friday 24 March, the first hearing against Apple took place at the Amsterdam District Court. The hearing started at 09:30 and lasted until around 15:30. The CCC Foundation was present with its lawyers (Scott+Scott) and the board (Bert Heikens, Ariënne Gommers and Wim Kraaijeveld).
 
The hearing dealt with technical and legal matters and did not yet address Apple's unlawful actions.
 
The court is expected to render a judgement on 2 August 2023. It will then be known whether the case against Apple can proceed.
