Google amends the conditions for app developers in an agreement with Spotify

Google and Spotify have agreed that consumers using Spotify will be able to use not only Google's payment system (Google Play Billing) but also Spotify's own payment system (see here). This move by Google shows once again that competition and free choice for consumers for app payments is possible. 

Apple still doesn't give consumers a choice for the payments of apps and in-app payments, which means consumers are overpaying for their apps.
